ID Link is a new, quick and easy-to-use system which meets the needs of today's modern schools. We supply digital images on a CD with each pupil's name and unique admission number attached ready to upload onto your database.

ID Link will fully automate the process of linking the pupil ID number to your school database saving your staff time and effort. It works with all the main school database systems in use today including SIMS, Serco and Phoenix.

ID Link has been designed with speed and ease of use in mind, keeping the distractions to the photographer on shoot day to a minimum. Using the software is simple and the photographer just follows the onscreen prompts.

BEFORE WE START

ID Link works for speed of entry reasons from barcoded numbers printed on labels. Two weeks (or earlier) before photo day, please email us the following four fields of data for each pupil to be photographed:

1. First name 
2. Surname 
3. Six digit admission number
4. Class or group name

The data is needed for the barcoded labels to be handed to the right pupil so that the photo uploads to the correct record in your database. Please supply these fields in CSV format. Also, please let us know your school DFES and LEA numbers and whether you are using SIMS or SIMS.NET together with your SIMS user contact name.
